Ｑ What kind of facility is SBG?
Ａ We welcome one guest per day.
It was a 45-year-old villa, but was renovated in 2016.
There are large cherry blossom trees and various fruit trees on the approximately 2600 square meters of land.
We offer two plans: Private Rental Plan for guests to use freely and Private Rental and Activity Plan for guests to use freely with activities and meals according to their requests.

Ｑ Are there any house rules?
Ａ ・This is a house by the sea, but there is a private house 50 meters away.
Please refrain from any activities that may disturb the neighbors.
Also, please be careful of loud voices when passing by.
・Smoking is not allowed in the building.
Please smoke on the balcony or outside.
・Please take care of your valuables by yourself.
Ｑ Are there any insects?
Ａ There are insects. The place is surrounded by nature. There are many mosquitoes and fungus beetles outdoors during the summer season. It is not suitable for people who extremely dislike insects. We have indoor bug control and bug repellent.
When we moved here from the city, we realized once again that humans are part of nature. We want to live in harmony with birds, fish, animals, and insects. We are trying to keep them away as possible, but we would appreciate your understanding.

Ｑ How do I check in and out?
Ａ Check-in: 15:00

Owner will be available at check-in and check-out.
Ｑ What is the maximum number of guests allowed?
Ａ The capacity is 8 people.
With futons in the living room, we can accommodate up to 10 people.
Ｑ From what age are children included in the number of guests?
Ａ Over the age of 2.
Children under 2 years old will be required to sleep with their parents. If you need a crib, you can rent one. (2200 yen)
Ｑ Can I stay with my pets?
Ａ Small indoor dogs are allowed indoors at the customer's risk. (Up to 2 dogs) Please inform us at the time of reservation. (3,300 yen per dog / night)
Large dogs can stay in the semi-outdoor space (SBG labo) on the 1st floor.
Ｑ Do you provide meals?
Ａ We have breakfast in the fridge for the first day. Serve at your own time. (Bread, fruit, eggs, bacon, juice, milk, coffee and other beverages)
Ｑ Can I use the kitchen to cook?
Ａ Please feel free to use the kitchen, bringing your own food and drinks.
We have enough tablewares for the number of people.
We also have basic condiments.
Ｑ Is the tap water drinkable?
Ａ Yes, it is safe to drink. Moreover, the tap water in Hiji Town is 100% groundwater and is famous for its delicious taste.
Ｑ What kind of cooking utensils do you have?
Ａ Rice cookers, Microwaves, Toaster ovens, Coffee makers, Water heater, Blender, Tabletop stove, Clay pot, Hot plate, etc. Basic cooking utensils are provided.
Ｑ Are there any restaurants nearby?
Ａ We don't have any restaurants within walking distance.
There are many places within a 5-10 minute drive.We can provide you with a map and other information.
Ｑ Is the bath onsen?
Ａ It's not onsen, but it's a nice bath with an ocean view.
The nearest onsen facility is a 10-minute drive away.
Also, there are over 200 onsen facilities in Beppu, a 20-30 minute drive away.
Ｑ Can I use the Internet?
Ａ Wi-Fi is available.
Ｑ Can you help me with our anniversary?
Ａ If you let us know in advance, we can provide a cake or flowers at actual cost. If you want to make it a surprise, please contact us.
Ｑ Can I listen to my favorite music?
Ａ We have a Bluetooth speaker.
* Please refrain from loud noises late at night.
Ｑ Can I organize a retreat or workshop?
Ａ Yes, you can.
Basically, it will be for guests staying at the hotel.
Please let us know the contents in advance.
Ｑ What is the location?
Ａ SBG is located on the seaside facing Beppu Wan in Hiji Town.
It is a 6-minute drive from JR Hiji Station. About 10 minutes from the Hiji IC on Kyushu Highway. 20 to 30 minutes drive from Beppu. 30 minutes from Oita Airport by car.
Ｑ Is there a parking space? Can I use the navigation system to get there?
Ａ Yes. The last 30 meters from the public road to the site is a steep slope, and the road is so narrow that even a small car can barely pass.
Please use the parking space at the top of the hill. It is a 2-minute walk. We will carry your luggage in our car. If you have trouble walking, or if it is bad weather, we will shuttle you by car.
You can also use the facility's mini-car after check-in.
Maps such as google maps will give you the exact location, but Car Navigations will not show the surrounding driveway.
On the first day, we will meet you at the convenience store nearby (7-Eleven in front of Hiji Station, 6 minutes by car).

Ｑ Is there a pick-up service?
Ａ We can pick you up and drop you off at JR Hiji Station or Airport bus stop "Hiji" when you check in and out. Otherwise, please take a cab from Hiji Station. (about 1000 yen). Please contact us for pick-up from JR Beppu Station, Kitsuki Station, and Oita Airport.
Ｑ Is it inconvenient without a car?
Ａ You'll have plenty of time to stroll along the beach and watch the sun set until the last light is gone.
But it is best to rent a car if you want to visit Beppu or other sight seeing places during your stay.
Bicycles (2) are available for rent free of charge. The nearby supermarket is about 10-15 minutes away.
You can also use the facility's mini-cars. (Gasoline and other fees are not included.)

Ｑ How do I make payment?
Ａ We accept cash or credit card upon check-in.
We also accept Paypay and Rakuten Pay.
For credit card, there will be an additional 2% fee.
Ｑ Is there a cancellation fee?
Ａ As we only have one set of reservations per day, we will charge a cancellation fee (base rate for two people).
